Rustique dining

One of the new trends is to enough of space for gatherings - long dining tables therefor are a must!
Long tables creates an informal
atmosphere with room for everybody.

Our new elm dinning table is perfect for having a lot of people over. No need to put on a table cloth - the raw look on its own is all the decoration which is needed!

Bring in the summer flowers!

Decorate with different small vases - a few flowers in each vase, and your dinner table will look like a beautiful flower meadow.

Use old antique vases and supplement with some of the many House Doctor vases...

Summer time = Picnic time!

The sun is shining and hopefully a lot of you are enjoying your summer holiday right now!

Summer + sunshine = time for a picnic at the beach or in the park!

Here's our suggestion for the perfect House Doctor-picnic basket and what should be in it! And of course - do remember the sunscreen ;)

Atanganas yummy yummy cake!

Great great cake for the first week in July!
(and why not serve it on our gorgeous "Pino" service?! Avalible in three colours)

Ingredients:
300 gr brown sugar
2 dl. oil
275 gr flour
1.5. tsp. baking Powder
0.5 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Natron
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
375 gr grated carrots

Frosting:
Icing sugar
Grated rubbish of 1 lemon
Cream + a little water

Beat brown sugar and oil well together. 
Mix the remaining ingredients and finally add the grated carrots.

Bake in the oven at 185 degrees for approx 45 minutes
Put icing on the cake when cooled.

YUMMY! Enjoy :D
